World premiere of a unique collaboration between three tenors

BRDCST curator Colin Stetson (CA) has invited countryman Tim Hecker (CA) and Francesco Donadello (CA/DE) to a unique collaborative project. Hecker remains a leading figure in the experimental ambient scene and stood on the BRDCST stage in 2023. 

His work is often described as ‘structured ambient’, ‘tectonic colour plates’ or ‘cathedral electronic music’. Stereogum: “There are few ambient electronic artists as consistent and groundbreaking as Tim Hecker, even if the terms ‘ambient’ and ‘electronic’ barely encompass the scope of his work”. Stetson recently appeared on Hecker’s album No Highs, which The Guardian awarded a four-star review.

Also on board: Italian producer/sound engineer Francesco Donadello (IT/DE). He’s produced for previous BRDCST phenomena including Hatis Noit, Oneohtrix Point Never, Hauschka, Christina Vantzou and Echo Collective and has collaborated with Modeselektor x Thom Yorke, David Sylvian and with Hildur Gudnadóttir for her highly praised soundtrack Chernobyl.
